Products
In this section you will learn how to add a product (or billable service), edit a product, add or edit images for a product, delete a product, add or edit categories and sub-categories, add or edit variants, add or edit the pricing table, and edit options for the shopping cart.
Adding a Product (or Billable Service)
- Click on “Products” in the Control Panel.
- This brings up the Products List. Select “Add a Product.”
- This brings up the initial Product Information Form. Input the desired “Category” and “Subcategory,” “Product Name,” “Product Code,” “Price” and “Shipping Cost” (all fields with an asterisk * are required.) Click “Submit” when completed.
- This brings up a more detailed Product Information Form. Fill in the remaining details for the product as described below. Make Edits to Variants (see Adding or Editing Variants below) or Edits to the Pricing Table (see Adding or Editing Pricing Table below) if applicable. Once completed, Click “Submit.”

Editing a Product
- To edit a product, first navigate to the Products component. Once the Product List is displayed, click on the “Edit” button (pencil and paper icon) corresponding to the product you’d like to edit. This will bring up the Product Information Form. Edit the information as needed then Submit.
Adding or Editing Images for a Product
- To add or edit images for a product, first navigate to the Products component. Once the Product List is displayed, click on the “Images” button (photo icon) corresponding to the product you’d like to add images to. This will bring up the Image Upload function. Browse your computer to add and image and then Submit. You can also delete previously added images here.
Deleting a Product
- To delete a product, first navigate to the Products component. Once the Product List is displayed, click on the “Delete” button (x in red circle icon) corresponding to the product you’d like to delete.
Adding or Editing Categories and Sub Categories
- From inside the Product Information Form for a specific product, you can easily add and edit Categories and Sub-Categories. To edit Categories, first click on “Edit Categories”. (To edit SubCategories, first select the Category you want it to fall under then click on “Edit SubCategory”, then follow the same instructions below.)
- This brings up the Category Editor. From here you can click on Category you want to edit, or choose “Add New” to create a new Category.
- This brings up a window that allows you to specify the name for this Category. Edit or Add in the new title and then click “Submit”.
Adding or Editing Variants
- From inside the Products Component or inside the Product Information Form for a specific product, Click on “Edit Variants.”
- This brings up the Variant List. You can add one of these variants simply by clicking “Add.” If you would like to edit one of the variants or create a new variant, click on “Add/Edit Variant.”
- If you click on “Add/ Edit Variant” you can easily edit a variant by clicking on “Edit” or “Variant List” next to the appropriate variant. To Add a new variant, click on “Add A Variant.”
- Clicking on “Add a Variant” brings up the Add Variant Name menu. Enter the Variant name and select the type of variant, then Submit.
Adding or Editing Pricing Table
- The Pricing Table function can be used to set different prices for different order amounts. To edit the Pricing Table, first navigate to the Products Component, then click on “Edit” for the product you want to edit.
- Click on the link near the bottom of the Product Information form, “Edit Price Table.”
- Clicking on this brings up the Price Table editor. Here you can select between Flat Rate (where every item costs the same flat rate), Per Quantity (where the price table can be used to set different prices for different quantities), or Per Variant (where the price is determined by a selected variant).
- If you choose Per Quantity, a Price Table must be determined. To Edit the Price Table click on “Edit pricing table.” This will allow you to add price ranges and set those up accordingly.
- If you choose Per Variant, a Determining Variant must be determined. To do so, click on “Select Variant for Pricing” This allows you to select the appropriate variant.
Editing Options for the Shopping Cart
- Basic Options for the Product Component can be adjusted using the Product Options menu. To access this, first navigate to the Products Component, then click on “Options” near the bottom of the window.
- This brings up the Product Component Configuration menu. Here you can change the Image Width, Thumbnail Width, the Payment Gateway you are using (PayPal or 2Checkout) and the account info to access your account.
