Photo Gallery
In this section you will learn how to create a gallery, edit gallery information, add or edit images in a gallery, and delete a gallery.
Creating a Gallery / Adding Images
- Click on “Gallery” in the Control Panel.
- This brings up the Photo Gallery List. Select “add a photo gallery”.
- This brings up the “Photo Gallery Information” Form. Input the desired “Photo Gallery Name” (*required), Description (comes up next to Gallery Name when displayed), and Sort Order. When complete click the “Submit” button.
- This brings you to a prompt to add more images. Adding Images - Select “Picture Type” (either “.gif” or “.jpg”), then click on “Upload”.
- This brings up a prompt to browse for a file. Click “Browse” to open a window that allows you to select a file from your computer. When selected click “OK,” then Click on “Upload.”
- This brings up the “File Upload Progress” window which shows the progress of your file’s upload. When it is complete it automatically closes and displays that the file was uploaded. Click “Close”.
- This brings up all of the images uploaded for that Photo Gallery in a scrolling list. From here you can either:
- Click on “return” to go back to the Photo Gallery List.
- Add another image using the “Upload Pic” drop-down and follow the same procedure as described above.
- Delete one of the Images using the “Delete” button underneath each image.
- Add a Caption by clicking the “Add Caption” button underneath each image.
- This brings up a prompt for adding a caption. Enter the desired caption and then click “Upload.”
- Change the Sort Order by clicking the “Sort Order” button underneath each image.
- This brings up a prompt for changing the sort order. Enter the deisred Sort Order and then click “Upload.”
Editing Gallery Information
- Click on “Gallery” in the Control Panel.
- This brings up the Photo Gallery List. Determine which Photo Gallery you would like to edit, then click the “Edit” Icon in-line with that entry.
- This brings up the “Photo Gallery Information” form. Edit the Photo Gallery Name, Description, and Sort order as desired then click the “Upload” button.
Adding or Editing Images in a Gallery
- Click on “Gallery” in the Control Panel.
- This brings up the Photo Gallery List. Determine which Photo Gallery you would like to add images to, then click the “Images” Icon in-line with that entry.
- This brings up all of the Images uploaded for that Photo Gallery in a scrolling list. From here you can either:
- Click on “return” to go back to the Photo Gallery List.
- Add another image using the “Upload Pic” drop-down and follow the same procedure as described above.
- Delete one of the Images using the “Delete” button underneath each image.
- Add a Caption by clicking the “Add Caption” button underneath each image.
- This brings up a prompt for adding a caption. Enter the desired caption and then click “Upload.”
- Change the Sort Order by clicking the “Sort Order” button underneath each image.
- This brings up a prompt for changing the sort order. Enter the deisred Sort Order and then click “Upload.”
Deleting a Gallery
- Click on “Gallery” in the Control Panel.
- This brings up the Photo Gallery List. Determine which Photo Gallery you would like to delete, then click the “Delete” Icon in-line with that entry.
